Since I have joined genVibe there is isn't too much action in here? I have had my Vibe for less than a year and am enjoying it. just wish I knew more guys around that had mods and stuff to influence me.. haha not that my wife would approve but hey..So where are all us Ontario drivers?

Ummm...I'm alive,but I'm a bad influence. We get together a few times a year,not many show,but there are some nice supercharged Vibes there and a Wave one too.We usually post up in the Ontario forum.Spring will be the next one.

*raises hand* im that Wave one he mentioned i've been to one "meet" if u call 3 guys a meet..lol

Well perhaps this summer season we will have to change that

Sup sinister..ya we are out here bro...keep it on the low for the most part..but as Kev said we do try and get together...there aremany Vibes out there but they are shy to show I guess..Hey man welcome to the community.

the Ontario Vibe scene was never really a lively one. I always hung out with the TO Matrix club at matrixowners.com.

i've never met any of the MO guys..im never on their site..hopefully they continue their spring meets..usually once a month or every other week.

they used to meet a couple times a month... weds and saturdays.

yep, way way back when, we managed to organize a gvc/mo meet and actually had 17 or so cars show up! but otherwise, good luck. got to meet some great folks though: even blaqjaq showed up! last year, Kevera stopped by a small meet (mostly the TO subie guys) but wowed them with his uber nice s/c Vibe! one of the nicest done I've seen thus far imo.

i've only met blaqjaq and kevin so far from the area that is..hopefully i can meet others. met some of the 9th gen corolla guys..they werent too bad, felt so out of place cause i had the sunfire still

Well we will have to get something together this summer.. I hang out with a few of the guys in the JCO.. I am a North member but don't own a J-body. Maybe we can start up something with our vibes.

i used to be apart of the JCO..didnt like it after awhile and left 2 years before i sold the sunfire last summer.

I used to hang out with LAC (London Auto Club) and OTO (Ontario Tuners Org) which was more of a province wide club. A lot of fun. I was the only Vibe LOL

I'm still apart of JCO,I have the turdfire.Not very active anymore though.At the MO meet on wednesday,some guy in a silver Vibe yells"Toyota's suck",right at us,meanwhile he's driving a toyota and there's a red Vibe in the mix,hope it wasn't anyone here.

HA HA! kinda like when I was up in Fairbanks the first summer I owned the Vibe GT. I go to the Toyota dealer there and one of the sales girl's yells to another guy, "hey, look! this Pontiac has a TRD sticker on it!" and starts to laugh. then I informed her that it's the same car as the Matrix XRS and popped the hood to show her everything TOYOTA. :rolleyes: dumbass!

Well, they're license plates. But, down here they are called tags. Must be a southern thing.

There were many other vibers, but not anyone I can remember off the top of my head. We got to meet Kevera and his wife last summer 07, he was the only Vibe to show up, even if it was briefly. The summer of 06 we drove up to Montreal and got to see Arcsvibe and family again (I got to do a little shopping with Mrs Arcsvibe), Fred Freedom, Polo, and a few others that I don't remember at the moment. Summer 04 we went to the Genvibe Supermeet II in MI and met so many members! LOL. Merzbow, scherry2, rasermon, triton, nsimkins, Vibechick, devlop, shoot.... a ton! Genvibe is a great community. I hope you can get some of the locals to be more frequent in meeting up. I can say that most of our social life revolves around our local subie group here.

ohh..she's on the other side of hamilton from me, im north of the qew/403 split give or take..and kevin..i didnt just stay home lol, i actually went and waited for like 25 minutes til im like" what the hell? did everyone see me and just leave on me?" it was embarrasing for me

And i would most definitely be down for a meet or 2 as long as they happened on a Friday night or Saturday, as i work the late afternoon shift Sunday to thursday

friday nights are fine by me, even saturdays. i work a saturday every third time..so hope it aint on that 1 saturday i gotta work a month and im good

I don't think I'd ever go to a meet. Modifications aren't my thing. I just like to take care of my car and drive it till the end of it's days.

Hey I show up for meets...its that no one else with a vibe usually does..shoot it has been me, Kevera, and Wave Action..and a couple of time I think it was just me and Kev.Any short term meets will be on hold for me till I am back up and running...don't ask..lol..it's been a tryin winter...Hey Kev!
