Step Right Up for your M3! That will be 100k please

Apparently some dealers are marking up the new M3 with 414hp by as much as 30k over the MSRP. I guess they feel this car will niche and be so wanted they can get it. I dunno about others, but I would just assume pass and get a 5 series with more horses and more room. Or pickup a 335i and do some computer work to boost HP and torque well over what the M3 puts out, and save tens of thousands of dollars.I really feel this place should be burned down for doing such a ridiculous thing. And the chump who actually pays that much over is a nutcase. I know it's a nice car and maybe some markup is expected, but 30k!!! It's just an M3, not a super exotic.

Not worth it.It's a pretty nice car, but you could buy brand new cars that are much faster for $100,000.

The new Corvette ZR1 coming out will be the first GM $100K+ production vehicle. For about the same price it comes twin turboed with over 600HP and will mop up any car on the road. Now that's bang for your buck (relatively speaking). But a $100K M3, come on!

yup, not worth it. heck get a older model M3 for heck of a lot cheaper if the M3 name is that important. otherwise for 100k mind as well get a fordGT or the zr1

Let's also not forget you could get a nicely equipped 6 series or even be edging into M6 territory. I think the M6 goes for like $120k.

I'd never pay 100k for a car that couldn't drive itself and cook me dinner.

Wow, that is ridiculous. They wouldn't price it like that if they didn't think they could get it, though. A fool and his money...What do you think the depreciation would be after a year? 40%?

Not sure but I can tell you that you could get a used mileage M3 for the 20's now. Maybe not a new used one, but a slightly older version, Heck I saw a late 90's one for 21k the other day. Not to bad at all.So figure this is not going to appreciate in value. The M3 is driven, not kept in a garage to look at.

I love BMW's, however, the reason I don't own one is because I cannot bring myself to pay that much money for one. no thanks. I wouldn't spend the $70K much less $100K for it, hell I'd not spend $50K even! MAYBE $40K at most, but that'd be it.

I could see a dual use for the exhaust pipes and gas pipe, (removed)!!!I would much rather only have to spend not even 40k and pickup a new STi, those things look fun. I actually saw a commercial saying you can get the new Subie hatches for under 20k! Granted thats a starting price, but alls I would want would be a 5 speed, decent alloys and maybe a few extras like foglamps and such. I would be under 25k though I think. I also think it was for the 2.5 and not the WRX, although I could be wrong. Either way, good deal on a nice little hatchback car.

Obviously a stunt to get people in the door. Seeing as the dealership is in West Hollywood, CA, I'm not surprised.I'm with Mavrik on this...100k would have to buy a few other "conveniences", if you know what I mean.

And I think if I had a 100k dollars I could hook that up, cause chicks dig a dude with money. the new wrx is like 33k so that had to be the 2.5 for 20k and that sounds cheap for a impreza...

For one, there is NO car in the world as sexy as an Aston (only my opinion) and that sound... oh, that sound. No M3 will ever sound like an Aston.

Look where the dealer is located. I am sure there are plenty of rich people in that area who don't care about the cost.
