how to put front driver door panel back on?

I removed my front driver door panel to see why my speaker wasn't working....turns out the speaker's connector had become disconnected. Now for the life of me I can't figure out how to get the door panel back on. The top of the door (the rubber thing that sits against the window plus the part that sits by the door handle) won't sit flush with the door/window. Is there some sort of trick to get it to fit?Any advice would be appreciated, THANKS!

I haven't had mine off, but, i am a former installer... I bet you have to have the window all the way down, then you hook the panel on the top of the door and get it in place and snap it down..

There are several small plastic clips that hold the door panel to the door. Are any of them still in the door? All of them should be attached to the door panel so they can be popped into the appropriate holes in the door. It sounds like you may have a clip or two still in the door. As far as the top of the door, try angling up or down a little, get one end in and it should drop in across the lip, then you may have pull the door handle out a little to get the panel to slip past it and set flush against the door.

The top front has to go on first and just rotate it down pop the clips back in and your set. You have to have the bottom of the door angled out a little to be able to clear and toget the top to seat back in.Aron

the way i do it is to to have the plastic cover angled like so | then i put the top part in first and push it down. then i swing the cover back towards vertical and hit where the the clips are.

The way I replace it is to angle the panel and align the top into the groving infront of the glass and slide it all the way down. After that, pop the pins back in place to secure the door panel. Cheers
