When driving, I notice that the interior handles on my door panels let an outside air/draft leak or blow through them. It is the most noticable in winter months (feels very cold). Is there a fix for that problem?

Yeah mine does that as well. Just shove a sock there while you drive.

are you sure it's from the door? on mine i've noticed that air comes through the vents. i usually drive with the heat off and the fan off too. it doesn't matter if it's vents, by the feet, or on the windshield. it is more noticeable at higher speeds. if i can i put the control to vents and shut them. it helps.

Putting setting on recirculation helps cut that down some, but the cold air leak I'm kind of concerned about really leaks in from the interior door handles....I know it sounds weird.

If you want the air to stop coming through the vents as you drive at hwy speeds even with the HVAC off.... Hit the ReCirc button.

i've noticed it aswell, doesnt bother me but have noticed it..i gotta ask, has anyone ever tried to insulate their doors? similar to what you would do to a house but..not as toxic or something??

i don't think it would be possible to insulate the doors. you need the room in there to allow for wiring, and the movement of your windowsyou can put some sound dampening material in there, which i doubt would really insulate anything, but that's about as far as i think you could go.

hmm well you can always have the wiring running ontop of the insulation..as for the window part..i'd just cut out where the window would be..like the access holes and such?

The wind leak from the doors is pretty much standard in all vibes. I have an 03 vibe and when i got my window smashed, the guy replacing the window couldnt get fully into the groves to reach the fallen glass at the bottom of the door. He indicated the small tiny holes at the bottom of the door which the glass will fall out of. There are 3-4 small holes down there. If you remove the door covering, you can get to it and plug it up if you like but there has to be a reason as to why they put those holes there in the first place. In any case, Good luck!

The holes at the bottom of the door are for drain purpouses when it rains or you wash the car and the water runs into the door. I have deadened my doors with a sound dampining mat which solves two problems, 1. It helped creare better midbass response for my speakers, 2. it stops the air from coming in thruogh the door handel.Aron

I have noticed recently while driving at high speeds that the driver side door is quite loud, wind noise, I am concerned that the "bumper" around the the door frame may be not firm enough. Any suggestions to help dampen that noise? Can you buy new "bumpers"?

Any suggestions to help dampen that noise? Can you buy new "bumpers"? i experienced the same issue, but on the drivers side. If the car is still under warranty, have the dealer look at it. In my case, I could pull the seal away from the door frame, they replaced it after attempting to reseal it.
