My new OBX alternator and water pump pulley set arrived today:) For those of you who may be interested, I got them from an ebay vendor (Sparktec Motorsports) for $100 shipped, which I thought was a pretty good deal. I went ahead and bought these because I got a new idler pulley as well as a new Goodyear Gatorback belt to install. I figured while I'm in there, I may as well change these pulleys too and free up a little power. ALSO, for all those other GT owners out there who are smart to not change out their OEM crank pulley, there may actually be a choice in the future. I ran across a few threads on Lotus Elise websites that have discussed NST possibly making a dampened crank pulley for the 2zz-ge. If they do make it, maybe someone else could try it first and let the rest of us know if his/her oil pump doesn't die

I'll definitely do that. After doing a little research, I went to Big Lots and bought a 4inch C-clamp for $3. I'm going to try it for easing the tension off the serpentine belt, as has been mentioned in several threads. I'll be sure to snap some pics of that as well as the rest of the install.

I also got my gatorback "on sale" from an ebay vendor for $15 total. The idler pulley is the Dayco pulley from autozone. it was $20. It looks a little different b/c I took the dremmel to it and drilled out the inner ribs in order to "save weight". I realize this, along with the other two OEM diameter lightened pulleys, may not free up much power, but every little bit helps. This is a starter mod that should help out when future major mods (cai, exhaust, etc...) are added. Plus, it really wasn't too expensive since I was changing out the belt anyways - $135 total for all parts.
