I have a 2008 Vibe w/ 12k miles (auto trans) and have had a very perplexing issue. About 5 or 6 times over the past 4 months, I've returned home from my 50 mi. commute with a fine black soot on my face. Windows up the whole way (cold in Indiana). The amount and location on my face has varied and not well correlated to vent positions. Wiping the inside of all vents with a white kleenex found nothing. The dealer also inspected them with a scope. Also found nothing. The cabin air filter looks relatively clean. Has anyone else seen or heard of such a thing?

I'm 99% sure. I work in an office making it very hard to imagine where I could get it there. And my co-worker has assured me that it would have been noticed. But I'll start checking in my mirror before I leave just to make sure.Thanks.
