hey everyone! new mods to 2003 GT

hey everyone! new guy here to modding the girlfriends vibe GT. i thought about getting a AEM CAI. should i see a performance difference at all? MPG? later on we'll do a header, and catback. what kind of power increases should i expect? thanks again guys!!

lol will do, lots of snow outside right now but i can do it. its all stock except for all up-to-date maintenance.thanks for the welcome!

stock is cool man, mines stock too except for tint and theirs lots of snow up here too, it's no big rush so dont go outside now and do it or anything

2zz headers are pretty good as it gets unless you port and polish them. no sense in wasting money on that. 1. Injen CAI (full, not short ram)2. port and polish headers3. Magnaflow cbe (best out there imo)4. Engine management: either Unichip, Greddy E-Manage, etc. something to tie all the mods together for maximum performance5. if you got the money, TURBO!

how's old UW treating ya these days? there isn't a whole lot of power to be gained on the GT without going FI...but they still have a lot more power over the Base models. I'd go with a CAI, Unichip, and then try lightening up the flywheel, and upgrading your clutch. Then go FI if you can afford it.

hey thanks! is there any increase in mpg or performance with a CAI? UW is cool i guess, there is just alot of a$$holes that hate you cuz you go to wyotech

That was above the normal increase/decrease over the changing seasons.
