Had a question and hope soemone can help me. About 2 or so years ago I painted my front grille's ( all 5 of em) with the black Krylon fusion paint thats ment for plastic. It looks nice and have a nice shine to it, but seems like after every winter its a bit chipped in areas. Anyone else use this product and have similar issues? Should I have used a clear coat to help protect it? I have repianted it 2 times so far. Wondering if there is a better product to use

i used the same stuff and it chipped for me too. i repainted them back in september and after the black i did a few coats of rust-oleum clear enamel and that seemed to help but its starting to chip again. however, over the last 2 weeks its been hit by a fair share of rocks

i'd like to do this but would hate for it to chip like that..maybe high temp paint would work..or like exterior paint since it deals with alot of weather, and winters and stones/salt
