I've driven one for spraying a bean field and it was absolutely insane. Not a horribly comfortable ride, but when it came to crossing the ditch to get back onto the road, no need to use the bridge.

haha, thats awesome, ive seen one in action but ive never got to ride in one, those much be one of the most capable vehicles on earth, its insane

Its a utility vehicle made by mercedes benz, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unimog they are used for everything from military vehicles, farm vehicles, rescue, rally, and off roaders. They can get get through pretty much anything....

Wanna see something insane for offroad, that anyone can own... Do a search on a Rocon.... It's a 2wd motorcycle...!!! Oh, sorry, off this topic... I've seen them on TV doing all sorts of crazy stuff, which is as close as i've gotten to one...

I don't think so, IIRC top speed is like 30mph with a tail wind, but they will go ANYWHERE... I knew a guy who had one, he was in love with it (this was in the hills of VT to) and IDK if they make them anymore... so it's kinda a niche

are they the ones that look like they use a briggs and stratton and have really fat chunky tires? i think ive seen one, my uncle works for ama and he has a bunch of old strange bikes...he has a husky with a fully automatic tranny haha

CHECK this out, how about a Rokon WITH a Unimog....lolthen you have things like this to see... And MUCH better yet....
