Well, at the Barret Jackson auction, the first Corvette ZR1 was auctioned off for 1 million dollars with all proceeds going to The United Way. It was beautiful to watch...

I wish I did. The ZR-1 is the first one being built that was auctioned. VIN number is 0001 and the winner gets to go to the factory and watch the car be built. He will also be the first one to start it in the factory. Along with that, he gets some of the artwork from GM Engineering Design and a 3 day driving school. The car can be picked up at the factory or Jay Leno will let him pick it up at his own personal garage.

thats sweet, i'd so go to Jay Lenos and pick it up there lol, no fun picking it up at a factory, but to pick it up from Jay and get to meet him, and probably get a tour of his garage would be something different

very jealous. I covet this car! I heard the first one would be Admiral Blue, not Jetstream Blue like the auction car was. Not sure if that's true or not...
