The vibe is in winter mode right now....much different then the rest of the year... It's got VW wheels with winter rubber, tow hitch for the snowmobile, cargo carrier as we're on a road trip, and as of today....35% tint. sweet mod so far. Found a place that cuts their tint with a plotter based on a pattern specifically for the vibe, so its a perfect precise tint cut all around every window. This is my wife's car, so this is probably as far as mods are going to go...mostly utilitarian stuff (reason for tint, cant stand the sun)

I wanna know about your roof carrier. Did the cross bars come with it? or did you get them seperate? I have an older carrier but no cross bars to set it on. Any help is appreciated including cost and where you got them.

took me a while to figure it all out....I got the RV-Inno IN-AR Complete Raised Rail System (cross bars with locks and everything for $130 shipped brand new).Fits good, but had to take off the cushy pads it came with since the vibes roof rack is so close to the roof. Works very well, and we are very happy. Good alternative to the Thule and Yakima roof racks that are much more expensive.

Any help is appreciated including cost and where you got them.I've been happy with the GM 'Utility Bars' we got here:
http://pontiac.dealerfit.com/s...8.phpThey appear to be made by Thule but were considerably less expensive (suprising since usually adding the car maker's label doubles the price). They also came with locks included whereas those were an extra-cost option at the Thule dealers. Note that these are different from the bars that were standard on '03 - '04 Vibes. Those bars are oval in shape and meant to stay on the car more or less permanently (they can be removed but it's not a trivial process). The Utility Bars come on and off in a few seconds and are rectangular in cross-section to take normal Thule-compatible accessories.

If course, the picture was taken in a Toronto suburb. I am visiting some friends right now that live here little bit east of Toronto. I swear no one build like Ontarians...On top of each other almost. I can always tell a Ontario GTA suburb neighborood by a single picture.
