Anyone had a good experience with a product to clean and protect the plastic caps on the ends of the roof rails (luggage rack and other exterior or interior plastic) on your Vibe? Since joining this forum, I have used McG #40 for rubber and vinyl on rubber and vinyl. Will it work OK on plastic? Thanks.

The #40 plastic and vinyl polish cleaner is the best. No residue leftover, gives it a good clean look without that glossy film over it. I use it on my dash, all outside plastics and even on my fiances Jeep Liberty Renegade cladding. If it is really faded I would suggest using this first. But be sure you apply it properly. Just putting it on a rag and wiping quick like its windex is not gonna work. You have to work the product in like it's a polish on the paint. Rubbing it in so it can penetrate and clean. http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=28767
