since it's winter and i live in southern cali, a lot of wealthy snowbirds come down and play with their beautiful cars. i thought i'd start postin some pics of cars i see every day. i took pics of these 2 today.Mercedes CL 550 Lorinserdamn did this thing sound good. it was drivin in front of me when i was on my way to the bank. it turned into a shopping center, so i only got to hear it for about a 1/4 mile, but my god, that exhaust note was like a symphony. after i was done at the bank, i went to the shopping center so i could get some pics. i finally found it at target i know the regular CL starts at like 105,000... but i have no clue what this one goes for :drool:behind it in my baby when it went into the turn lane. (not a bad pic considering the fact that i wasn't even lookin at my phone lol)in the parking lotcheck it out, no pillars by the doors. looks real nice n clean, but i'd hate to see one after it rolls a couple times. i also wanna know what those sensors or whatever are for up above the mirror, but i'm think IR night vision. i wish i coulda stayed and waited to talk to the owner so i could get a sound clip of the exhaust, but i had to work.since the one i saw was black(and filthy), my phone cam didn't pick up the body lines that well, so i found a vid of a silver one on youtubehttp://youtube.com/watch?v=ZWVT9dsmgHEfound a sound clip. it sounds a million times better in personhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCKGsUYQGwMone of the docs at a medical center by my house has some sexy cars too. here's one of em. obviously i don't need to tell what it is. i tried to take more pics, but my phone started to die n wouldn't let me EDIT took this one a few days ago. i turned my stereo off and shifted like a grandpa so i didn't hear anything but the sound of the ferrari. i did the same thing today with the mercedes

No pillars.................back in the day that was called a hardtop and was common on both 2 & 4 doors. Very common late 50's, 60's and early 70's and really looked cool when all 4 windows were down.

I can't stand them blingy wheels though... throw on something in black and that car would kill... IDK much about mercs but the AMG models are killer... That lamebo is retna burning.. and that rag top looks aweful on that car... nice car, if it where a different color maybe.. I sure hope that doc isn't an optomitrist... lolI just realized from your pics, i've NEVER seen a Palm tree in person.... lol

Very nice indeed. He needs to clean his Lorinsen though, I see water spots!!!Something that's worth a little more than all those cars shown. A genuine Superbird with a 6 barrel. One of the rarest around, only like 1290 built total with that package. Could not believe when I looked under the hood and saw the engine, then the storyline of how it was his fathers car. He even put the Coyote plush in the seat with his head out the window. P.S. check out the license plate "WING IT" lol.

Either your older than I thought BC or you like classics. Double antenna Impalas are awesome!Yes I did mean the six-pack 440. Lost my brain for a second. I loved the wing on those, especially since on the NASCAR track they did serve a purpose. There is a kid in my neighborhood who has a Dodge Spirit in white, he painted his wheels blue, and put a big blue plymouth sticker on the rear quarter. I almost wanna go tell him its not a Superbird.

Daytona is my car. Superbird is similar but the Charger Daytona is a lot better looking IMO.I have never seen a Murcielago Roadster with the top up before. Thanks for posting!Yes that guy with the Benz needs to get his hod repainted. My Vibe hood doesn't even have that many rock chips like that and his car cost $100,000 more lol SEXY TIME!Oh, and BTW...get your stupid palm trees and your warm looking sunlight out of my face!!! Even your darn strip malls look tropical and warm I'm perfectly fine with this ice and 8 degree windy weather. I love looking at busted up winter cars driving around instead of Lamborghinis! Psh...I would trade a Gallardo if I owned one for a 1995 Sundance with rusted out fenders any day!!!I can't wait for spring and you aren't helping (removed)...

there really aren't any rock chips, but the car was REALLY dirty. i think what you were seein were some of the bugs that were on iti saw an R8 at the post office today, but it was way too dark for me to get any pics

Yeah I think you're right. I meant "permanent bug craters" Those bugs that hit so hard they don't come off no matter what.

(removed)...who does this guy think he is? ^ HAHA just kidding. They had a few articles on Lorinser a couple months ago in "Modified Luxury and Exotics" magazine....BTW, probably the best magazine on the market IMO: http://www.modifiedle.com/issuepreview/I had no idea what they were if it weren't for those articles...I still don't really know what they are except for the obvious: The "Lingenfelter" of Mercedes.

LOVE that car, but, the GT3 recently got it's rump handed to it by the Nissan GT-R, same for the Vette Z06...
