I gotta figure out this friend code thing. You will be addicted to this game. I just beat Slash on Medium and was like, ok I'll put it away now, then spent another hour playing people online.

guitar hero consumes all who play it! it's especially awesome if you have it hooked up to a good sound system!

at the wii main menu, in the bottom right corner is the wii address book. There on the front of the address book is a ultra long number with dashes in between some numbers. that is your friend code.

Once I hooked it to the net, I was done for, played another hour just doin 3 song face offs. One kid battled me so I went with it, he had something goin on cause none of my hits were doing any damage to him.

Is it February yet, I can't wait to start downloading new songs!

where are you gonna store those songs on the wii? some peoples wii's are full from all the VC games, nintendo needs to allow usb drives or SD card access for streaming instead of writing only.

The only thing saved on my Wii right now is my GHIII data for my one band, so I have loads of free space.

well....if you consider less than 512mb of free space loads imo that was a horrid decision. usb drives are up to like 8gb. they could of at least had like 1-2gb of nonvolatile ram.At any rate, when/if they do have dl'able songs it will be sweet, i saw them on my ps3 download store. but i have GH for ps2, so i can put custom songs into my game! found Michael jackson - beat it...oh yes that will be fun.

Well they could be streamed as well so they are not totally downloadable but just usable from the internet. Either that or they will have some kind of plug in. I though there was a card holder on the wii in front, where you can sync the wii-motes.Oh and P.S. - where did you get the Beat it and other songs for PS2. My buddy has GH3 for his and we play at his house here and there.

as of right now, the wii can not access files from the usb or SD card in the front. It can only back up saves and VC games to a SD but is not able to use them off the SD. If nintendo ever allows that which would fix those issues as i would use a usb HDD, i dont think they will yet because they think people will use it to play homebrew applications off of the usb/SD. well and SD was hacked a while ago for that so its just ninny being slow. As for the streaming that wont work as it isnt supported in game.Um for xbox, pc, and ps2 you can custom your own GH songs. visit scorehero.com and in the forums you can see how to make custom tracks for your GH I found like 400 tracks im going to put into my GH2 for ps2

Started career mode on easy the other day. got my third gig so far. Time to step up the free play mode a bit to medium soon. I'm getting 98% average on the songs on easy mode. Got 100% on Radio Song (one of the bonus tracks) a nice lively tune lol.
