first off, when i first got my gt the clutch was slipping. so i replaced it with a exedy stage 1. about 3-4 months later, i was working with a computer company about 500 miles from home. when lunch came around one day i was busy with a big a$$ server so this guy who worked with me took my car to pick up lunch. stupid move i know....... well now the exedy is slipping under hard launches. so i'm looking at clutches on ebay and see tjis "f1 stage 2 clutch http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItemso has anybody ever used one of these? are they worth anything? second question is i was looking at some headers but i have heard the gt's stock unit is best, and i heard someone say have the stock manifold ported. so who does this, how much horse power can i expect and how much is it? thanks for the help.

We were talking about this the other night with the MO guys.How old is the stage 1 now.They were saying that it's paired best with the Fidanza flywheel.So look into the flywheel first.Here is a "how to" on the ported header,hope this helps.http://www.newcelica.org/forum...04266

Don't expect your tranny to last if you beat on it all the time. If a stage 1 isn't cutting it, then get something beefier. Like a stage 3. Might as well go for the lighter flywheel, too.
