The reason that civics sound the way they do is because of thier engine. That is why even a good expensive exhaust on a civic will still sound buzzy. The Vibe has a smoother, more relaxed exhaust note.

I've heard some really nice sounding civics...I'm pretty sure quality exhaust (and installation) matters, I've heard some that sound like subies...not raspy tinny and farty...might have been an h22 swap or something though...not the nasty little 1.5's

I had a 2002 Civic EX Coupe 5spd. You can kinda see the exhaust in the pic. I had the Apexi WorldSport II catback system. Cost me $400, and the fitment was perfect. The tip was not too large, had a nice rolled tip to give it a finished look. And it tucked up nicely to the stock cutout, pretty much looks like the exhaust that should have come with the car. The sound was amazing. At low RPMs it sounded like the stock exhaust, quiet. But get on it and it was a perfect melody. I wish I had gotten some sound clips, cause even my buddy with his Mustang said it sounded really good.

Matrix xrs and the Vibe gt are the same cars. The exhaust would work fine.

Many people on this site are a fan of the Magnaflow. I personally like my custom Borla setup, but Magnaflow is great quality none the less.
