Kayaking Vibe...

Well we are new Vibe owners and are very impressed with the car. Shot some pics on a shuttle run that I thought we should share.

Actually there are 6 boats!

We actually got 6 boats up there. The bars are way too long but before we cut them down we had fun seeing all the boats up there. Looking forward to all the adventures to come in our Vibe!!

6 kayaks?! haha thats like a vibe record! GV should have a vibe world record listing for things like that.the wave blue is a cool color i must agree What roof rack do you have?

Welcome to the Vibe family. We haven't carried more than three boats at a time, but I agree that the Vibe makes a nice shuttle vehicle. Plenty of room and decent ground clearance while getting much better gas mileage than the SUVs I usually see.

Thanks everyone. We are currently using the Yakima set up with low risers and the yak stackers. Same set up we used on our Jeep Liberty. The hatch does hit just a bit since the boats do stick out but we will not need the Q-clips. Luckily we are into whitewater kayaking and our longest boat is just 8 feet!
