Ok, here is the situation. Got in the car and drove for about a minute. Noticed on the radio where everything is displayed, part of it was not fully light up. The part where it shows the EQ and P channels. Also, my PAC aux box is not working. So could it be a fuse or maybe something wrong with the radio? Debating on getting an aftermaret HU.

Check the thread i was just posting in, If your problems are anything like mine, the engine box fusebox was the key...

Yes I turned it on.The radio plays and all the normal things I am able to do. But the Aux box no longer works and the display is half-lite.

I have already checked two fuses under the dash. The CIG and the GAUGE. Both were fine. I removed them and put them back in. So I dont think it is a fuse problem, unless there is another fuse I have not found that relates to the radio.

Do all the other lights work.I would pull the radio out and have a look at the connection where the PAC aux box is powered.Hey,You should know this stuff,Mr electrical man.Seriously, that's where you should start first, then work forward.

Well I just got done checking all the fuses ( under the hood and inside ). Nothing blown. So I decided to take apart the radio and the face of it. Looked at every single bulb and they seemed all fine. But there is just that one that is not lighting up. It may be blown, but it does not look like it and I do not feel like digging more into it and going to get another bulb and soldering it. So it will either be just replacing with the OEM or aftermarket. If I replace with an OEM and still have the same problem, then I will do some more research, but I do not have time for that right now.

I still have my OEM, if you want to try it out.

But it still doesn't explain why your PAC aux box is not working.

Hey Brad I will take you up on that. I have the whole week off next week again. I have to go out to the new house on Monday at 1 and Thursday at 10. So if you are free around that time then it would be great. Or just wait till I move out there next weekend and get up sometime.Kev, as far as the aux box. I have no clue. The radio wouldnt even notice it and all connections were good. So I think that it just went bad, but not sure what happened to it.

I have on 05 and the radio did the same thing. Dealer replaced the radio and a few months later - that radio di the same thing. My heater/AC controls also started to act funny - with the fan not coming on unless you turn it to 3-4 - and the AC light not coming on for the same reason. I replaced the radio with an aftermarket - and it has worked fine for 4-5 months.
