I know it is not a Vibe and I have a garage post here on my Vibe, so why not this car too? It is my pride and joy and I plan on keeping it a long time since I now own it! MODS:Z06 Corvette exhaust, Z06 sway bars, C6 Z06 Shifter, LS6 Intake Manifold, K&N FIPK, Vararam Velocity Stack, stainless steel brake lines, Borla X pipe, Z06 shocks, High Flow MAF. SAE Dyno Numbers 330 RWHP/340 RWTQ And a few small cosmetic mods...All mod work done my me, no one touches my car unless I am physically not able to do the job...

On the Chassis Dyno this summer. 330 RWHP and 340 RWTQ. 380 HP at the engine... The only way to brag and know where you are is by getting a dyno run right?

Shown with my red top, I also have the smoked but it is like a green house in the summer so I use the red all the time. The mono color just looks better too!

Just picked this pinball macine up the other day and am in the process of restoring it now. My next project! It and all were made in 1994, it needed to be restored but does work. It is my second pinball in my collection...

The beauty of these cars is when buying used like I did, it makes it affordable for anyone! Mine has 57,000 on it now. However I was not afraid of miles not that the 50,000 it had on it was high to begin with but I have a good friend that is a GM World Class Technician for advice and I was born with a wrench in my hand! Plus I know and have pics of guys that have over 100 and 200 thousand miles on these engines and still running strong! And yeah, the 6-speed is the way to go! I smoked many stock autos when my car was all stock just because the auto trans has to wind up before the power comes in. Usually these guys then have to spend money on a re-program and get their shift points adjusted. Now, I have not driven GM's auto with manual paddle shift. I hear the shifting is pretty close to the 6-speed. Well when I cannot use my legs anymore, then I may try that trans! And no, it has not been to the track...

Keithvibe, yeah a Twin Turbo would be so sweet!! Well maybe in a few years I will! After I save my pennies too! Plans still in store for the car are possibly lowering it. Easy to do on these cars and I just need to buy a rear bolt kit. The downside is it will scrape on the ground even more and the roads here in Mich suck so it would be even more rough of a ride. I am also looking into rims. GM rims such as from a newer Vette or Z06 rims. And ramenboy, I know how you feel. An 87 Vert is a nice car no doubt! The first Vette I could have had was a 1973, my Uncles but the time was not right. He sold it and bought a 93. Sold that and bought a low mile demo 2003 Vert and also now has a brand new 2007 Z06. I have not driven the Z06 yet but he is also very conceded and if I did drive it he would probably say I owe him one now...

Very nice car, Todd! My dad's girlfriend has a torch red '98 as well... he took me for a ride in it and it scared the hell out of me. It wasn't running last time I heard though, it is having computer problems.

i've never been a huge Corvette fan really, however, going to the autox and riding along with some of the Z06 guys, I will admit... they are BADASS! Thanks for sharing, it's quite obvious you take immaculate care of the car! It will last you for many many years of happiness!

Thanks for the kind compliments and comments everyone... If I ever have a kid, it will be the youngest Corvette owner I know of! And James, if your dads GF needs help in fixing the car, go to corvettemechanic.com. I am a mod there and ask for C4C5 Specialist and even tell him I sent you there. C4C5 is my GM World Class cert friend and he answers most of the posts. The site is run by techs and people that know how to work on cars like me. Your dad or his GF can post on what the car is doing or not doing and we can at least tell what is wrong or tell him/her what the dealer should be doing to try and diagnose it.No doubt Corvettes have a lot of computers on board. Mine has a few less which is fine with me since I do not have auto climate controls or selectable ride suspension. GM has always used Corvette as a platform for new elec technology as well.
