Rear wheel/axle squeaking.

I have a squeak that is coming from the rear wheel or axle at low speeds. I don't think that it is the caliper rubbing and I have taken it to two different dealerships that can't find the problem. Somewhere between a tenth and a quarter mile of driving, it usually goes away, only to return the next morning. It seems to be louder in cold. Anyone else had to deal with this? eh(yes, this is my first post)

That's a stumper. Was the parking brake on and maybe not releasing fully? Did you apply the brakes while backing out, or only while going forward? If it will make the noise when no parking brake was on or when you didn't brake going backwards that would eliminate some possibilites.
