After seeing Romo flub-up the snatch for the field-goal attempt last year during the playoffs, I really felt sorry for the guy. I am happy he got the multi-year contract this year.The Colts and Patriots have won the championship too many times, so I am also cheering for the Cowboys and Romo to win to the end.

1) NFL suks cause they didn't put it on cable, I could care less about NFL Network, it's the worst of all the channels. And why would they lose all that viewership for a huge game.2) Cowboys can **** me. Hate 'em. What I hate even more are the fans who have A.never been to Texas B.can't name the starters C.jackets just cause they like the colors.America's team...bwahahahahaha!GO GIANTS!

That was an great game. One of the best comebacks ever. And just for the record, I've been to Texas and don't plan on ever going back.As far as those "fans," what about all those people who just wear a Yankees cap? Or they are only Yankees fans cuz they don't have anything better to do? The Yankees are the evil empire.

I'll admit a lot of people are front runners with the Yankees, just as they are with the Red Sux, Patrishts, Cowgirls. But I can certainly tell you I love my NY teams, Rangers, Giants, Yankees. Most people do hate us true Yankees fans cause of their budget, which is funny cause their payroll is not much higher than the Mets or Red Sux right now. And if your team had the money, they'd do the same thing. But you cannot argue how well some of their members play nor the fact that (yes I'm bringing it up) they are the most well known and winningest franchise in sports history, ever. They are like the Coca-Cola of Sports, known the world over.

There are many reasons to hate the Yankees, and I will admit that they have done some amazing things. Jeter & A-Rod are amazing. The Yankees have proved over and over again that $$$ can buy championships. However, just because you can buy the best players in the game doesn't mean that they are a "team." Look back a few years, 2003, the Yankees paid more in luxury taxes than the entire Marlins payroll and still managed to lose. I think that Joe Torre kept that team in check. It will be interesting to see how Girardi does with so many egos next year.

I know you cannot buy a team and the recent years have shown that it doesn't guarantee success. But just to point out the expectations that are set by this team. The standards are ridiculously high after so many wins and championships, they have a goal each year to not only make the post season, but make the World Series, and win it. That is essentially their goal. Yes it is the dream and goal of all the teams, but some of those teams are considered to have a good year if they make it to the first round of the playoffs. Take the Rockies in point. If I was a Colorado fan I would have been ecstatic we made it to the Series, even though we didn't win, it was a huge achievement for them. Torre was let go (that offer was complete garbage, he wanted more years, not incentives) even though he made it to the playoffs every year. Some teams would kill for a record like that. Especially after their performance this year coming back from a horrible first half. K I'm ranting now and this is a Cowpokes thread. Blech, had to wipe that word off my tongue with a scraper.

It's all about expectations and as a Yankees fan I expect to do certain things every year like the playoffs. So I guess we are spoiled in a way, but it's how we were brought up.
