it the at set up don't need a by-passvalve I don't know what intake does... One puddle or hard rain storm and your engine is going to become a paper weight

I really don't think water would be as much of a problem as needing to change the filter every week from the 10,000 bugs and rocks it would catch

I remember when these came out for the civic about 5 years ago... I took one look at one in person, laughed. and that was about it.The idea is cool, but they are too small that they don't look right on the front of the car, and I can't see it helping or being nearly as effective as a normal CAI.

You also not only blocking the radiator, your taking air from the radiator, so your engine will be hotter thus losing performance. lol.

I dont see how air coming into the filter and making a 90 degree sharp turn then through all that piping is going to add hp. A SRI seems like it would do more than this thing. Plus the filter is about the size of your stock one in K&N material. Maybe if you lived in the desert but not where I'm from. Think of driving in the snow and all that snow piled up over the intake while you drive, lol. It's like a snowcone for your engine. Which btw is not good.on a side note I'm surprised that me jumping out the window only gets people to want stuff off my car instead of the garage of cleaning products and equipment I have.

Fake stuff that doesn't help your car go faster is lame. I'm putting this in the same category as fake badges.

Waxing your car like I do would make your car faster than this thing, lol.+1 for fake badges

Its not even rice, its down right pointless and harmful on your engine. Might as well run a funnel into a filterless pipe directly into your throttle body and pour water down it lol.
