Hey all! Well I finally did it, I got a new head unit to replace my factory one. Im tired of the iTrips and the FM transmitters and thousands of CD's i had to burn. Now i can control everything through the unit itself! Its so exciting! And also it has some spiffy features such as illumination change, animated display and jog features. Pictures!**I did not install myself so I dont know anything about wiring and what not. The place I went to is a hole in the wall place and I know the owners and they gave me a good deal.! **What do you guys think? Should I have gone double din? Price was $434 including install, harness, kit, unit and free ipod cable! Almost $600 value!**EDIT** Just changed my blue buttons to red to match the vibe! sweet! oh the wonders of reading manuals.

Yeah, You SERIOUSLY need to learn the interface BEFORE driving lol. I almost ran a stop sign ha ha, anyways. I reccomend a new HU to anyone with thier stock one and can afford it!

But seriously, play with it in the drive... I say very nice... although, you "could" have done it yourself with a little enginuity and my install tutorial... I'd say you got a decent deal, how much was the HU alone? I mean, what did you end up paying for the intall??

Basically, labor was $50 bucks and i paid $300 for the Unit, $350 retail. And then harness, kit and such. Free Ipod Cable.
