My son dropped a bunch of skittles and they ended up under the rear seat. Does anyone know how to lift up the seat to clean it out under it?

If I remember correctly, all you have to do is remove the bolt which would be approximately between the calves of your legs if you were sitting in the seat. (one on each side) Once the bolt is removed, the front of the seat will pivot up, allowing you to get the Skittles out.

Skittles! Oh no! I'll trade you skittles for "crumbly choc-chip muffins" any day! I bought the water proof rear seat cover to protect against them!

The choc chips tumble out of the muffin un-noticed. Then they are like little land mines all over the seat that are hard to see against a dark fabric. Sooner or later, somebody sits on it and s c o o t s their bottom forward or backwards. Result: Big brown streak!

This is why no one is allowed to eat in my car. My kids included.

It's amazing how a thread evolves here. From skittles, to big brown streaks on underwear to steaks.
