When I got my vibe GT I got just about everything you can for the car. The bad thing is I have NOT got the bug out of my system. I have been trying to find cams for the VVTL but i can't find anything. I want to get more power out of the car but can't find anything that i have not yet done. I can't or want to go turbo or SC due to high compression. I don't want to put a body kit on the car because I like the stock took of the car. Can anyone help me get this bug out of my system.

Give me your car, and walk away....There is no cure for the bug... unless Blue Crush knows something we don't know... he's the king of modding, and then selling, and then modding, and then selling and then modding.... you get the picture.

True, no cure but maybe just something to make it go away for a little bit.

Honestly, you're probably screwed.... I swore I wasn't going to do anything to my vibe when I got it... then I found this website... well, now I've got wheels, tint, other little things... want to get the billet grill, spoilers, lowering springs, CF hood, the list goes on... One way that can help and I don't suggest it, is to stay away from the internet... that's when I get all my crazy ideas....

I'm on medication now. Piper Cams are your best bet. Check out newcelica.org for more info than you can shake a stick at regarding cams for the 2zz. Good Luck! (Do it. Go outside and get a stick, then shake it at the info, you'll see there is more that the stick can handle. Do it...Do it)

so, give us a list of your current mods and we'll tell you what you should do next. that's the only cure....

The Piper cams have got me interested. I just need to work a lot of overtime though. The price is crazy. Has anyone done this to a vibe? With cams the car would be a great little sleeper.

I recommend start by building a whole new engine up in your garage for your car. I am decking the attic over my Christmas break so I can move the garage junk up there and have room to build an engine. After racking my brains for a while I figured this is the best way to 'fully' modify my engine at least. Then you can go nuts with high compression pistons and an aluminum oil pan. I also highly recommend going to monkeywrenchracing.com. And this, like cowbell, has only one cure, MORE COWBELL. haha

In 2 1/2 years, we've bought the all-weather mats and put on the bumper guard. I think that's it. I buy a car - I drive it...
