Finally pics of one of the most prestigeous car collection on earth IMO ;)

Post by Merzbow »

So here you go...almost every milestone super car available in one warehouse. Ken hosted a gathering today at his warehouse. The guests were a car club from Ann Arbor I believe and of course me and a few of his other private car friends. Once you set foot into this warehouse the feeling is unreal. Nothing like it can ever happen to me again and never will. First thing I see when walking through that big white door was an SLR, S7, Enzo, Veyron, Gallardo, F40, 599, 612, Super America, 288, 360, 430, 430 spyder, Carrera GT, and Murcielago. Knees went weak, heart started beating through my chest, stomach started churning, began to breathe heavily.I can honestly say, if I would have gotten hit by a bus I wouldn't have noticed. One experience I will never forget even when my body dies. I got the sit in the F40 too....drool...Going back there next Saturday (20th), I'm hoping he will start some of them up for me so I can get some good exhaust clips. An all-Ferrari club is stoping by next weekend.Anyways, Enjoy the pictures. As always, pictures don't do justice but just try to understand that these cars are actually driven a lot and on a daily basis and are NOT garage queens, which does in fact add to the already existing awe towards them. A few videos mixed in there as well. IF you have any questions or requests for particular pictures post up as there are over 300 pictures taken between my friend and me LINK TO PICS: http://smg.photobucket.com/alb...0PICS/

(removed) I agree Damron...I'm so far in debt already it's ridiculous. That's why I LOVE to play Test Drive Unlimited. I can drive the cars I wont ever own I think the Veyron's worth is up to around $2.2 million now North, when he bought the S7, Saleen upgraded his Ford GT's supercharger for free....it's like: buy an S7 get a $40,000 supercharger upgrade free!!!! (removed)... He's got a Koenigsegg CCX on the way to add to the collection. I'm trying to get him to get a TVR Sagaris, as those are among my favorite cars of all time next to the F50. He's still looking for an F50 that meets his criteria.

I'm sorry but a waste of money???? Would you rather him spend his money on cocaine or DUI tickets like all the stupid celebrities now-a-days? (removed)...That is not a waste of money. He donates to charity, he has quite a few houses, he has three daughters and a son which are all in school. What else would you rather him spend the money on? There is nothing else to spend money on.Don't use the argument "you can't drive fast on the roads anyways" either cause that's such a dumb thing to say lol. He races a lot of these cars on the track...and even though you aren't supposed to go fast on the streets, it's not a matter of going fast...it's the feeling. Controlling such a powerful machine, such a work of art, an engineering marvel. Just like sitting on the curb while a '68 Baracuda with a blown 454 drives by...you can feel it in your bones and there's not another thing like it in existence anywhere.

(removed)...I know it's your opinion. I never take offense to anything ever except when it comes to cars. You can make fun of me or put me down all you want but when it comes to cars I am VERY sensitive. So I don't mean to snap back at you lol. It is the only thing I am living for. I don't care about anything else in life except bikes, of course my friends and some of my family members but you know what I mean

Well the NSX was a very advanced car when it came out new. Think of other cars that were out when it was introduced in the early 90's. Even with a mid engine V6 it still held competition against many other cars. And if you TT those things, they are ridiculous!BTW, very nice collection, you are lucky to see those cars so often. Still I think the F40 is the nicest car there.

I took pics of the Corvette's for you Toolguy. No he doesn't own Saudi Arabia but he did get hiw Porsche 959 from the Sultan of one of those Middle Eastern countries...you think this is a lot of cars...his told me this Sultan has at least 5-10 of the same exact of each car he owns just in different colors so whatever color he feels like driving that day he has them....that is a bit ridiculous IMO.The wires are to keep the batteries alive so the cars are primed and ready to go depending on which one he wants to take out.Reason I don't look happy is because so much excitement and awe was running through my brain, it didn't have the capacity to show any emotions on top of all that (removed).

The Sultan of Brunie (not sure of the spelling)He's crazy, most of his normal cars, once he's done with them no one gets them. I read about how he dumped 400 motorcycles into the sea b/c he didn't want them anymore... It was years ago when I read about him.

I think it is the twin turbo kit on it. John Lingenfelter (the one how made all the GM performance upgrades) Was actually Ken's second cousin. When I found that out I was very excited lol. Those Lingenfelkter cars are ridiculous.

Well, he gets a lot of his cars from a Bentley/exotic dealership (Bentley of Troy) around my area. So he helps them advertise I guess since there were over 130 people there from the exotic car club of Ann Arbor. Probably doing them a favor.BTW Sheldon, that guy in the middle is a badass so watch it j/k.

He just had the turbos in the 959 redone to meet California emitions since that is where he keeps that particular car. There's a guy there that specializes in that without sacrificing any of the power. So far I've only driven the Red F430 he has in there. Soon he said we will take out one of the Lambos. I've sat in the Veyron, Enzo, F40, 430, Gallardo, and one of the Maseratis.
