Yeah that's right! My uncle is hosting, I'm picking up the keg of Sam October in the AM. Got it from my buddies liquor store for $135 no tap fee. $5 over cost We are gonna have bratwurst, schnitzels, all catered by some German restaurant nearby, apple bobbing, pumpkin contest, wine tasting, I'm gonna get some cigars today after work. Good times for all!

It's horrible to have to pay twice as much for beer with half the alcohol content.

With the Mormon's controlling this state, it is like paying a damn sin tax. On the bright side...we have some amazing local breweries. The local stuff is brewed at high-point

OH lovemyraffe thats awesome! we have local ones here in Duluth/superior too and they make some wicked beer! It costs slightly more but tastes better and is stronger, so its worth it

You could go to South Carolina where they don't have bottles of liquor in the bars, everything is poured from nips. There is another state, I think PA, that you can only buy beer or liquor from the bar. Walk into the bar, have a beer, get a 6 pack to go!

i live right by st. louis, so there are a number of local brewers around here!(AB being the biggest, of course. )

I'm originally from the D.C. area, and even with all the stupid laws about alcohol, Utah isn't half bad. For big-time breweries I do prefer AB, but there is nothing like having a fresh one from Red Rock. If you are ever out this way, check them out.Besides, Wyoming is 1 hour away and you can get all the kegs up there. (just don't get pulled over on your way back, they will impound your car if caught with a keg.)

AB had a promo a couple years ago where they had crews go around to all kinds of local bars and hand out for free beers that were brewed earlier that day, which were carried in huge buckets of ice. it was sweet.

It's like that here in Toronto. We have beers stores and separate Liquor stores.Down in the states you don't have as many beer choices as we do here. This is the dilemma we are faced when we go buy beer,I'll take one of each please.(just press submit)

When I went to VA and NC, they have ABC stores that operate separately from groceries and sell only liquor. Beer is through the grocery.Got an update:We have my granfathers (god rest his soul two years) trailer packed with hay and attached to a riding mower for hay rides, a scarecrow for the kids to buils, apple bobbing, a DJ with german music, etc. I'll get some pics up!
