Yep, same car.The Taurus/500 is a different model, the Mondeo is actually what the Fusion is based off of. So we get the dull Fusion, they get the awesome looking Mondeo. Even in base LX trim it looks better than the fusion.Ford really needs to get on board and start making some European models for us in the states. It's obvious we are trending that way with all the recent sales and introductions of crossovers and hatchbacks. They have one hatch, the Focus which is a poor car to begin with. Nobody likes a bubble. Now the new European Focus would be hot if they brought it over as the replacement.Oh yeah and they have a new convertible version too!!

that;s right! the fusion/mondeo...i read an article about how for some reason, the mazda has no problem bringing the 3, speed3, etc over to north america, but for has some weird restrictions bringing the new focus over, which is essentially the 3. with different skin. i don't get it. yeah, among other european models, the new gen focus is supposed to be pretty badass

If they brought a focus convertible over, they would rock the market and sell a ton of them I bet. Cheaper than the VW Eos, bigger than the Mazda Miata.

Well, there are a lot of things I would change about that car, but it's about...87% better than the Fords in the USA.

It's in UK too. Some auto mags have rumored Ford to be bringing it stateside 2010-2012.

ozone smozone... they have the hole in the ozone right above their heads. Heck they even have a special formula sunscreen and clothing to wear.But, yet they continue to put out cars with no regards to what is causing the issue. Love the look of the car hate the idea that they have no enviromental restrictions to follow
