Ok, So I got a 2005 with M&T Package. And I was just wondering how hard would it be to add a new bass. And how much is a good system? And what parts I would need. And ANY information that you think would help me in my quest of making my sound system better.

what kind of music do you listen to first off? this helps a lot in finding what you need to get the sound that you want...also do you like your trunk space and want something that is fairly small?

I listen to rock, some techno, and some rap. And I like the trunk space, but I won't really be using it that much, but a removable sub would be a good thing. Something small, and good sounding would be awesome.

most rock, rap, and techno is going to benefit more from a ported or bandpass enclosure, it is going to be more "boomy" then the typical sealed box...i personally have a 10" kicker L5 in a sealed truck box so it doesnt take up much room on the side of my trunk. i have a 2 channel amp bridged thats making about 350 watts RMS, in my opinion i made an awesome choice and it sounds great. i have the hatch dynomatted as well as my doors because it helps keep the sound in and other people dont have to listen to the same bass you are going to have...i got my stuff from people i know so it only ended up being about 200 bucks...if you want to do it cheap you should look at the bazooka bass tubes, i personally dont like them but they will do the trick in adding a bit of thump...by the sounds of it, you are not looking for SPL competition crap, just something cheap to fill out your sound? post some ideas you have and i will try to help you, there are some other people on here that have quite a bit of knowledge...

Ya, well I don't really need anything that CRAZY. But my friend might sell me a 14' 800w sub for 15$. So give me your ideas off of that. Where can I get a good amp and box for that?

I used a truck box for mine. A little slimmer, runs nice and flush with the top of the back seat.
