Ok, So I came down to 2 very hard decisions. And I wouldn't really need to bother you guys, but I don't really know stuff about audio and cars, well the wiring part anyways. You will see what I mean.Ok, now I got a 2005 moon and toon's package. So here is what I want to do with my car.Option 1:Buy: http://www.hookedontronics.com...17917Around 80$ after shipping and stuff.Buy: 14' 800w sub from my friend and buy a new amp and box to fit it.Now, option 1 might be cheaper. But is there a way that I can install a new sub without messing my vibe to much?Option 2:Buy: a new faceplate with an Aux port on it alreadyAround 120$Buy: that sub that I was talking about before and get all the stuff with it.Now option 2 is going to be a tad more expensive, but would it be harder to install? Now here comes the point I'm trying to get to. I am a teenager. Aka, I don't have a lot of money. So i need the option that won't cost that much, but I also need the option which will sound the best and will be the easiest to install. But mostly I want the best sounding option because my friend is good with audio, and well, christmas is coming up so free stuff! Please help and give me your ideas.

Hmm, ya I don't really feel like messing with all that stuff. And if bestbuy installs the new faceplate, then they are responsible for getting the sub to work. Right? O.o

vibe radios don't have interchangeable or user removable faceplates

As for the sub, no, they wouldn't be responsible. Are you talking about the monsoon sub? or an aftermarket one. If you want them to get a sub working, that will be outside of the cost of installing the HU.Quote, originally posted by Kevzaz »So i need the option that won't cost that much, but I also need the option which will sound the best and will be the easiest to install. Not gonna happen. Pick one option that is most important to you. Cost, ease of install, or sound quality. You won't get all three. Maybe a mix of some... Quality is going to cost you more.

Hmm, well I think I'm going to install the AUXBOX thing. Then install the sub. That IS possible... right? I mean running another sub using stock head unit.
