I have the stock Good Year RS-A's. Can any one recommend a quieter riding tire? The Good Year's are so noisy.

There are several threads on this topic; look around. I'm looking at the Kumho Solus KH16 for my next tire. It's rated much better in all areas including less road noise. Have heard good reports on it, and it's reasonably priced.

I liked the RS-A's.They lasted 3 years for me,and that wheel hop you mentioned Wave, isn't the wheels it's all that power you have now. Sunfire killer FTW.

Have them shipped to the closest UPS Store on the USA side, probably Niagra Falls, NY. Drive down and pick them up. They charge $5.00 per pair handling. You just pay PST and GST to bring them back. You'll save a ton of money.

woo sunfire killer!! ...kevin i was afraid of pullin a wheelie at the stop light..lol..i kid..but that would be hella cool...as for shipping it to the state side..i dont think it would matter much now cause the canadian dollar is higher..so it'll actually be abit cheaper for me to buy them here instead

Tires are usually about 40% more expensive in Canada, just like cars. Don't ask me why.

You are in CA so you should be able to get a Summer tire to meet your needs and would perform better overall? Are you apposed to this, or do you want to stick with a A/S tire?

I like the Goodyear TripleTred and with 21K miles now still look new. Other consumers like them as well.http://www.tirerack.com/tires/...=true

I think sometimes people post a topic and then make up their mind about something before they even read the replies.

I use a Toyo Eclipse. From the p.o.s. tires that came stock this is amazing, and not crazy expensive.

Just got around to buying 4 new Goodrich g-Force Sport Performance Summer Tire They are a much quieter and better riding tire. The tires do not follow the highway groves, got a great deal from the American Tire Company. Out the door for all four $339, $100 off internet coupon from ATC and $40 rebate from Goodrich. Thanks for all your recommendation especially the idea of a summer tire it’s perfect for the Southern California weather.
