Ok, for some reason, when I try to save pictures with IE 6, it only saves it as BMP's. I know it can save to what ever format the original picture is, it did it before. But now, for some reason, it only saves as BMP's, and I dont want it to. Anyone know how to fix this? I'm all out of ideas. It's probably something simple....

Is the proper format even selectable in the file type box? I've never heard of that problem before. Have you installed any updates recently?

Thanks also. I've been having this problem and forgot how I fixed it in the past. Darn bad ActiveX plugins.

No problem. I had so much trouble with IE6 that I wound up switching to Mozilla on all my machines, both my Windows PCs and my Macs.

I was just thinking about it installing Modzilla tonight. I only wish that I could install Linux with my motherboard. I wouldn't touch this Window's stuff unless I had to.

It's an excellent browser. I've had no problems with either version (Mac or PC) as far as graphic display, page formatting, anything. I'm using Adobe GoLive with the IE display conventions set to write my pages and they all display wonderfully with Mozilla. The one thing I will say that upsets me is that Windows Media Player will not function with the Mac version. It works great on the PC though. I hear you about Windows. The only reason I keep it around is becuase I don't have an analog video capture board for my Macs yet, so I need to keep a PC around for video work. Oh well, one of these days...
