It is almost (I keep saying this) time to go buy an 08...just haven't had the time.I have narrowed my choices down to salsa, wave, and platinum.The V will have the plastic (non-painted) bottom trim. I am referring to it as 2-toned. My first mod will be dark tint on the back to keep things cool for the dogs.Here is what I request of you good people:1) pictures of ONLY salsa, wave (light blue right?), and platinum vibes2) they MUST have the gray plastic trim, no solid colors3) would prefer tint on the back windows but I can use my imagination.4) would prefer stock wheels to compare to what I will have but will take what I can get.Disclaimer: yes I know I could probably search and find picts considering there are "salsa" and "wave" picture threads but I live in the middle of the woods with dialup that averages 2-3 KB/s transfer speeds. Do you feel my pain?By limiting this thread to just what I need to see, I will bear the pain of looking at the picts.Thanks much and hopefully in a week or two I will have a V to post picts of my own.Will

I got 2 out of the 3 that you are asking for. Platinum with tint. I could take some pics of just the top half.

so you want pics of a wave vibe huh? well click my sig below and you can see all of my pics, i just bought mine about 2 months ago..couldnt be happier with the color..i've seen 2 matrix and 2 other vibes the same color and thats it..everyone has platinum and abyss and salsa..so i went a different routebut since i see you have dial-up and i got alot of pics, here's my car as of recent with tint and stock wheels and in wave blueand here's a pic of just how awesome the color is

I don't have photoshop on my work computer, so this looks like crap...but to try to give you an idea of what a wave would look like with the two tone....Thank god somebody has an actual image so I can remove mine. (see below)Yes it's a hack, yes it looks like crap, so I'll take it off if someone with Photoshop can do it.

Thanks for the picts so far :-)Kamikaze - your pict was fine. Showed me what I wanted to see. I went to the local dealership and they had one hiding in the back, not yet prepped for the lot. It looks pretty good in 2-tone. Of course it doesn't have tint but I am liking the tint picts so far.It is a pretty rare color so if I can find it in a stick and gray bottom it shall be mine....oh yes....it shall be mine.

awesome, cant wait to see pics..and i never saw the hideous pic of what kami did to my car...i had a hard time trying to find one that i wanted...wave blue, 5 speed, power package and the 7 speaker package with charcoal interior..i got half of what i wanted..5 speed, wave, and power

Thanks Shayne...that looks sweet. That is exactly what I want but mine will not have tinted front windows as we do not do that in MI

hey no problem renthorin, up here the legal limit for tint is 35% but i did 20% cause i like them all to be even, it aint even that much darker compared to my 35% i had on my sunfire

What is the item right at the base of the hood on the salsa vibe pictured above? It looks like a mustache.
