Well it happened today. I was on my way to my 10 a.m. class and yielded at the light to turn right and I came to a complete stop, due to a car coming. Next thing I new, bang! I get hit from behind and I'm stunned, then bang again hit from behind. The impact was enough to open up the storage compartment doors next to the left of the steering wheel and the one under the shifter. I get out, still stunned and walk back to my car. It appears that nothing happened to my car. The guy behind me gets out and looks and says nothing happened to the car. (College kid who seems scared) I look at his car, then mine, then look underneath my car, all seems fine. I then look at the pick up truck behind him and he is just looking at us. I wave to both to stop an the next side street. The guy behind me follows but the other guy that was behind him just kept going and of course I don't get to see his license plate. I pull into a side street and the guy who hit me, pulls beside me. I go back again to re-evaluate my bumper and notice that his license plate is somewhat imprinted on my bumper. I have the screws indention and the top part of his numbers imprinted on my bumper, but other than that no damage. His car had a minor scratch on the front bumper, but no other damage. We switched information just as a precaution. Of course I was 30 minutes late to class, so I was more ticked. The imprint is minor, you have to look close at the spot to notice, so I'm not sure if I should just try to see if it can be buffed out or leave it.
