Hi guys i changed my spark plugs finally cause i felt the car running differently...if you had your vibe as long as ive had mine (5 years) you really know how it should ride....so i went to Advance Auto Parts an found some NGK V Power Spark Plugs fpr $1.97 *each*..(an i see a difference in gas mileage an all)... so when it comes to changing spark plugs in your vibe (whatever mileage you wanna change them at) ask for NGK v power spark plugs ...an besides there recommended by Toyota ...an they save money better then buying Autolite Or Bosch V plugs cause they run jus the same...*i hope this was helpful*

Autolite and NGK are both made by Denso, I'm not sure about Bosch.

Umm on top of that, you posted a picture of the Iridium IX. V-spark is a different product by NGK. So which is it. I assume IX cause our cars use an Iridium Denso plug as OEM. I am getting NGK IX as we speak.

I to just changed my spark plugs, at 120k miles. The car wasn't running poorly, but it was time. I replaced them with OE Denso Iridium plugs. Our Vibes call for a very specific spark plug and I highly recommend you use them. Replace your V-power plugs with the real thing. Expect to pay $9-$10 per plug, they are well worth the money.

I just put some in (the Iridium IX's because they didn't have the OEM replacement ones in stock) and they seem pretty nice so far. Mileage looks to have crept up a bit also, but I really need to look at the numbers a bit before solidly claiming that.

iridium and the correct heat range is the key. Iridiums need less voltage to fire and they are "hard"....meaning resistant to wear.

Stay far, far away from Bosch Plugs! They are great for VW's Audi's, ect that were designed to use them, but in most GM, Toyota, Nissan products they tend to weld themselves into th head, even if you use anti-seize when installing them.....btw, you DO all know to use anti-seize every time you remove and install ANY plugs into an aluminum head, right?

I stick with what is supposed to be in my cars and I never have issues. I put the same plug that came out of my car back in. I would have to check but I think I used Iridiums. Not cheap but why take a chance? My knowledge is this... When it comes to plugs and engines, the plug in the car is the chosen one for temp range and its design. A person will never see any gains in power from just plugs, maybe mileage and that is because the originals were worn so much that any new plug will be better. I also change mine on any car at half of the recommended interval. Just MO's...

I can't remember the exact sizes, but you need the smaller one.. IIRC it's 5/8" and I believe the larger is 7/8" But don't quote me... You should be able to find them at any parts store..
