Ok who is getting it?I ahve been playing on one of my friends modded 360's since yesdterday and I have to say the game is purely amazing.THe Beta did not do it any justice.

Ill be playing it next week...business trip this week so the roommates have to pick up my preordered halo

i wont be getting...lol..was never a huge fanatic fan of halo like so many people..i'll buy it eventually..but not gonna stand in line for 7 hrs for one of the first copies

I am so friggin excited!! I have been waiting a long time for this.

im waiting for GTA4..always been a fan of them..more to do and alot more fun in my opinion..we'll all have to get together and play halo 3 at some time..i'll be buying it but not right away..my next pay i will which is the 5th of october

yeah it looks crazy. i played halo 2 on regular xbox at my old boss' house a couple years ago n didn't wanna put the controller down. i love pretty much any bang bang shoot em up game

i got it preordered and will be on that... its a great multi player for people.i had the legendary one preordered but gonna save my money for COD4 and unreal tournament3 and GH3

I'll be glad when it's out so I don't have to hear any more hype. Can't go into a game or electronics store without seeing all the ads or getting asked at the register if you'd like to pre-order.....the guy at Best Buy yesterday insisted I'd buy it....even though I've never played any of the Halo's and am really NOT interested in this version either....they had to put off the launch of PGR4 for 2 weeks to give it some room in the stores....it was supposed to be out on the 25th too.Oh, and I won't miss the countdown on my Xbox everyday either. *rolls eyes*

MUAHAHAHAHA...guess who just got Halo 3 for $60cdn flat!and i played the COD4 beta at my buddies house and MAN is that game ever F'in sweet..definitly a game im getting..we were playing H3 on legendary and it's really damn hard..lol

I never got on the Halo wagon, guess I never owned Xbox when the original came out. I played it once or twice, it was ok, driving that car was frigin hard though.GTA4, I barely played GTA San Andreas, too much going on in that game. I still love Vice City, that's about my speed.

sweet, if they are selling early then that means I can get on Live when I get home. I have had mine since Friday and am about halfway through it on Legendary(I recommend if you are doing this solo, go Heroic cause it took my nearly two hourse to get past one part on Legendary) Damn game kept dropping off brutes and I kept dying. Finally decided to try something and went back for a vehicle and came back and desimated them)

i still cant beat the last part of the first level on halo 2 on legendary... : (Gosh i cant wait till tomorrow... woot!wats cool is yeah i cancelled my legendary edition. but im getting some cool goodies from our halo3 display at work. hehehehe!ill post pics when i get it all home...

I went to a bar last night to watch Monday Night Football with my buddy. Next door is a place called Game Stop. There were kids lined up down the plaza. I'm sorry guys, but this def. puts people in the category of dork. The news already said stores have overstocked to make sure people can get it. Sorry guys, I gotta call these people LAME.

Well I beat the game last night on Heroic. The ending was freaking awesome. Well worth the wait. For those that have played campaign, who has found the Red vs Blue skit in the game? Hehehehe I found it while exploring.

They would call you a idiot for going to a BAR to watch NeanderBall... They were running the opening LIVE on Spike last night, they kept showing this guy who build all of his own Halo armor and weapons, he planed on wearing it for the whole evening... No of it is different than Trekkie's or Ringers or or or orEdit: I just did a spell check and "trekkie's" was a KNOWN word for the SC... lol

got my limited (SCRATHCED) edition today... woo hooo!So get to go play the return till you get a good one game later... But our store had like wat 10 people and i checked last night and our target had like 200+ copies of the game. haha.A genvibe match would be good... alot of my LOCAL TIME buddies will prolly have a clan ill join since mr NORTHVIBE lives in timbucktoo! haha.

hey got a question for anyone regarding the skulls that you can find...exactly what do they look like? i found a skull in the first mission but wasnt able to pick it up or anything

So is it worth the price for the 5 hours of game time to beat?

If I am gona game it will be on my PC so I can shut the game off and get some work done... yeah sometimes that happens:D

games to me now are only worth it if you can play online with others.... i dont play bioshock and i bought it... its not online so nothing exciting after you beat it which i havent. so its like a paper weight right now.im tryin to stick to only games i like that are online aswell. makes it worth it in the end compared to like single player non online games.

anyone else having problems with their gamertags? it keeps saying my gamertag doesnt exist

Has anyone else beat it on legendary yet? If so, what do you think of the bonus ending? (I wont say more as not to ruin it for people that haven't got there yet.)

i must suck... im stuck on mission 2 where all those brutes and guy with the hammer are in the base. i died twice then had just the hammer dude and almost beat him, but got grand slammed by his hammer... sooo frustrating. but fun. im on heroic. and boy its a challenge!Halo 3 tonight anyone? should be on round 630PM PST

im on mission 9 on legendary(last mission)..so far it's been very frustrating with how many times i've died! lol..and as for the skulls..i have found 1..i found others but wasnt sure what to do...when you find a lone skull...hold the R2 button and MC will pick it up and you'll get the achievementedit** anyone beat the last mission? im on the top of the stupid tower and im just getting swarmed with no chance in hell to kill them all..where the hell do i go?edit**..ok finally figured it out and just beat the game on legendary..man is it insane..and my achievements just jumped by about 500 points..gonna re-do it in normal and get all the skulls then head online

You don't suck. I beat the game on heroic, then went back and played the final level on legendary. I just wanted to see the special ending before I found out about it from someone else. Now I can take my time and go back and play the campaign on legendary.*edit* Wave, did you stick it out through the credits and see the rest of the ending? Its well worth it for anyone who is tempted to skip the credits. (Especially the legendary ending.)
