Does anyone know what the wattage is on these lights?

The typical 9006 bulb is 55 Watts, I do believe. Apparently there is a way to convert a 9005 bulb to fit, which would give you 65 Watts. It's not recommended to go higher than this unless you redo the wiring for higher wattage bulbs.Dave

Using the 9005 silverstars in mine. a bit tricky to twist in... but no issues. I thought it might leak a little, but so far it's fine. (found that out for sure a couple of days ago when it was pouring down rain. ) My main concerns were:1. Heat from higher wattage bulb distorting the casing. No troubles there, drive with fogs on all the time. (gonna install the switch mod so I can better control when they do and don't come on.)2. Overloading the wiring. Haven't had any issue with the higher wattage. I've tested the entire system and found no cause for concern.3. Water in housing. The post seal on the 9005 is smaller than the 9006, but the pressure on the plate appears to be enough to keep it out. If you're worried, a very thin rubber washer, or some RTV sealant will fix that up NP.

Thanks pard. I picked up a set of 80W yellow xenon bulbs for them. I plan on putting 80/100 head lights in also.
