Satur9... I totally agreee with you that G8 is a sexy beast. I'm probably going to be picking one up for my wife sometime end of next year.

it will have a manual but only in the GT version and it will be an option.

Do ya think they'll make that in a wagon?Manual an "extra cost" option? That would be a switch. I always thought that the premium for AT was exaggerated - that it did not cost $700 more to equip a car with AT than a manual. Allows them to advertise a car for a low priice knowing that a large % will be sold with AT.

I dont' know much about pricing...gm is being VERY close chested with any and all information about the G8 the most they've given out is that the G8 GT loaded will be under 35k

Having 35k to spend opens up a lot of options. That's almost double the amount I have ever paid for a new car - of course I'm pretty cheap.

but that is a V8 w/ 362 HP and 302 or 402 torque i can't quite remember right now. and you'd be getting a lot of luxury options to. and the styling people designed it to compete with the BMW 5 series. and from the front i can totally see that. I love that interior to.
