Product Review: OBX Lightweight Alternator Pulley

I finally had my OBX Alternator Pulley (Exact same as the Unorthodox Racing Alternator Pulley) installed today. I attempted it 3 times previous but was unable to loosen the bolt that held the pulley on. SO I called around and found a shop that said they would zip off the bolt and switch the pulleys for me for free. So, I removed the alternator for the 4th and final time (only took 10 minutes compared with the 45 minutes it took the first time. lol.). Dropped the alternator and pulley off at the shop at 8:00am this morning, got a call an hour later saying it was ready. The OBX Pulley is approximately 1/8"-1/4" larger in diameter then the OEM pulley. So the alternator will be underdriven just a hair, but not enough to really notice a difference in the cars electrical system. I'll be able to see exactly how much less power it produces on the led display of my voltage stabilizer. The OEM sized belt fit just fine. This mod will allow the car to rev a little quicker and free up a couple hp that the engine was already producing and send it to the wheels.Pulley Weights:OEM = 8.0 oz.OBX = 3.6 oz.Engine overview with the alternator removed:Close-up of the alternator location, you can see the thermostat location right behind for easy access for those who were wondering:Close-up of the old pulley on the alternator:Close-up of the new OBX pulley with the alternator re-installed:First Impression: I did not notice much in the area of gains. if anything it is helping to make the engine work easier. The Voltage only dropped .2 volts according to my Bellon Voltage stabilizer with the LED voltage readout. But it will help when combined with the Alutec Crank pulley for better throttle response and quicker acceleration.Review:

Don't forget that's with the alternator off,so if yours is on,it will be easier reach the bolts from the bottom.
