I got my Progress lowering kit yesterday and today it goes on. Any helpful tips. I got impacts and air ratchets. I have to go rent a spring compressor. I think i got everything to do the job. All be sure to get pics.

around here Autozone will lend you tools. You have to put down a big cash deposit, but you get it all back when you return the tool. Might be a $0 option for the spring comrpessor rental

Take your time, when compressing the spring make sure that you go from side to side so that you don't compress too much on one side first.. I don't think I've ever had big problems when putting in springs, just do them one at a time. you'll probably want to check for an alignment when all done. Can't wait to see pics, make sure you do before and after pics!

If autozone rents the sprin compressor with just the hooks. Be careful as I have had these slip off. The one that I have bought loops around the spring itself. If I was worried about marking the spring I use electrical tape. The nice thing about the one I have is that it bolts around the spring and it is near impossible for it to slip.
