Gauges(PICS)

Here are my gauges. Unfortunatley, my a/f ratio gage does nothing but freak out. The needle goes from one extreme to another at a very high rate of speed. It is super annoying. If anyone has an idea of why this is occuring, please let me know. Here are the pics.

I really like your gauges, how the red matches the cluster. But I'm not crazy about the pods though. How did you connect the a/f gauge?

Looks good!! What Pods did you use? Where can I get some?

I had a shop install them. The tech gave me a reason as to why the gauge wont work properly, but I don't remember why. I will be calling them in a few minutes to find out. Celtic, the pods are autometer pods bolted right to the a-pillar.

.................and oil pressure readings?

The oil pressure readings are fine. However, I will have to wait until Monday to find out why my a/f ratio gauge doesn't work properly. The tech won't be back until then.

The a/f has a sensor line that taps into the stock o2 sensor. And if you want to know what psi the oil is, I think it was slightly under 20 after the car was warm, but I don't remember for sure. And obviously the pressure builds when I accelerate. I looked around this and other forums to see where people had their a/f hooked up to, and it would seem that mine is hooked up properly.

Ok, I did some more reading and found out that this abnormal gauge behavior may in fact be normal. Here is a link to what makes me think that.

They do move around a bit,but some gauges require this kit to be installed for accurate readings. It's not necessary but some do.

How do I find out if my gauge is wide or narrow band?

It's not the gauge that is wide or narrow band, but the O2 sensor itself.... Hare is the GIS page..
http://www.google.com/search?s...ensorHere is another GIS based on the Bosch LSU4 wideband sensor....

Hey sorry to resurect this thread but I installed my sandwhich and have nothing but leaks. FIrst the seal then the screws. Has anyone else had issues with this? The gauges work but since i use Mobil1 I can't stop the leak. Any ideas?

Also what is everyones oil gauge reading? Mine goes to 20 when warm but when cold it's pinned at over 100. Do these engines run with that high of OIL pressure? Thanks.

bump, does the oil pressure drastically change for anyone else?

As far as your leak goes, I'm not sure. As for the oil pressure, yes, mine is that dramatic of a difference when its cold and warm as well.

Thanks buddy I thought I did something wrong on the install. When the engine is cold the pressure needle is buried then as you stated as it warms up It goes to normal...weird. The leak I will hopefully have fixed this week, I am gonna take it to U-wrench where I can fix it properly.
