Got a call yesterday from Mike, my advisor there. They pulled the bottom off the engine, looked at the crank, bearings, etc. Found nothing, put it back together, and when they started up the car, it ran perfectly, no noise? They are gonna pull the tranny real quick today just to make sure nothing is in there as well. I love my warranty! Certified Pre-Owned is def. the way to go on cars, I'm glad I did, Toyota is covering everything! With no cost to me!I am almost wondering if when I put that spacer on it threw something out of balance causing the noise, when they dropped the bottom and then put it back in, it realigned and was fine? I dunno, but I miss my car and am tired of rolling on plasty caps with squeaker tires.

That's cause they havent found anything wrong yet. They pulled it, looked, saw nothing, put it back together and now it runs fine for some reason. Odd.

Cause it was making a huge whine like a seized pulley or something, never went away. It would throw a check engine light for the maf, and when sitting the oil light would come on, it would almost stall out and then come back again. And if sitting in traffic idling for over 5 minutes, white smoke would pour out of the back of the car.
