It's done! He sent me this pic of the completed unit. He said it's a 98% fit which means that it fits the shape very well. Looks great and cannot wait to get it on the Trix!!!He wants to know the interest and who is up for buying one, he said within a week or two he will have them available for sale for approximately $37 shipped. That is a really good price. So I will post another interest thread in For Sale to see who is interested.

should be pretty easy to install, kind of a plug'n'play mod.

Plug n play. The lamp housing is what I sent him so its my own OEM. The kit will just be the LED bar and plug. It literally plugs right into the socket you have there for the stock bulb.

Just got the email, he is shipping mine out today, has about 50 in production ready for stock. He should have them up on his site in about a week. Great guy to deal with, always communicated and updated. Can't wait to get this thing on.Can someone confirm for me though that the Vibe 3rd light is identical to the Trix? Take yours apart and throw up a pic or two. I took a look at some random persons GT today in the parking lot near my office, they look very similar.

If I can't do it tonight (gotta work) I should be able to do it tomorrow night. (unless someone else can beat me to it)

it should fit the vibe/matrix.when i got mine off ebay, it was shown on a matrix. good fit. and like whelan said, the whole thing should plug into the socket instead of a bulb.looks great whelan

I was so close to getting that when I realize I could have made one for less than $50. That and I didn't want to spend the cash. I found this guy on the Mazda 3 forum, emailed him a few times, and shipped my unit out. Figured I could benefit others as well who wanted one.Can't wait, I hope shipping from Ontario doesn't take too long.

Well he shipped from Canada on Monday so figure 2-3 days ground should be at my house tonight, sucky thing is my car is not back yet so I won't be able to install it until Monday after I get back from the weekend lake trip.

I met up with a Vibe owner from here in New Haven and sold him my Helix for $50. I took the opportunity to look at his 3rd brake. It is identical so you are all in luck!!

No teasing here. I am waiting for stupid postal service to ship. I guess it takes like 10 days or something ridiculous. I just called my dad and nothing has come to the house yet today, f'in A! So another day wasted.Once I get it I will take pics of it, install it, take some day/night shots, put a nice post on here with all the pics and then send the pics to Devin so he can post them on his site for sale, then I will put the link to his site in the FS section so all can enjoy.Trust me people, you think you got an itch waiting.
