I have a 2004 Vibe and when I lock the car it only locks and the lights blink. I was told that there is way to program the alarm to make it sound, through theradio system when the lock feature is set. does anyone know about that? If so I can do it with instructions.

Bump! I'd like to know the answer to this also. Otherwise I have an alarm siren I will wire to the parking lights.

You should also be able to use an everyday SPDT relay to achive this this diagram should work. Why would this not work wire a relay to accept the negative trigger from the door lock wire such asThen in turn send that to another relay to switch like so and to another relay to convert back to negative like soSo in turn wouldnt this take the negative from the door lock convert it to a 12v signal, this would be sent to the second relay to trigger the momentary 12v signal, and that would feed a 3rd relay that would convert it back to a negative signal to honk the horn. Anyone understand that? Is there a reason that wouldnt work?Aron

ahh.. and I was just going to use a relay that's normally closed. and set the trip connector an acc power wire so that if the car was on it would open the switch in the relay. the closed circuit would go from the parking light power, to the activation side of the relay for my horns.
