i've had many accidents in my young life..such as splitting my chin open 4 times or anything..but to get a hook in the eye..or even a fork through the nose must hurt alot more.

I've gotten a hook caught in my cheek on a cast before when I was about 12 and that HURT!!The lure must have caught a tree branch or something cause all I remember was throwing my arm back and then forward and a burning feeling on my face.I don't want to conjure what the eye ball feels like.

When i was to young to remember i was chasing our dog though the house with a butter knife... I fell and nearly, literly, ripped myself a ne A hole.... I still have the scar from what my GF tells me... I made a "slide-for-life" once as a kid. I didn't have enough rope to make it all the way so i tied 2-3-4 sections of rope together and ran it between the 2 trees, we had this huge cast iron and wood pully used to put hay up in the barn, it was big enough to make it over the knots in the roap(s). All it had to hold onto was a ring, so me being the MacGyver that i was, founf the jowl hook for slaughtering pigs and used that to make a T handle through the ring.... Well, one of the ropes broke and thankfully, the jowl hook didn't make it through my skull, or i doubt i would be typing this. I did end up with a nice 1.5" scar on my noggin from it though... Was playing with a Swingblade used before weedwackers came about.... well, my lil'brother wanted to play and came running up to me on a backswing and caught him right in the face.... we got lucky again, as the corner of it hit just below his eye and made a tiny 1/4" cut, that bleed like all get out... my dad herd the screams and ran out to see my brother holding his eye and blood running everywhere.... He was fine though, 3 stiches.. Stuff like this happens all the time, just ask Waveresponder...

And this is why I get called so over-protective! I can't imagine the pain of either of those.

i was just watching Trauma a lil while ago and it had a story about a guy who had been at the shooting range that day. he reloaded his .32 cal pistol and put it away. IN HIS PANTS. he had been warned not to do it but never listened. as he put it awa it fired. blew a hole right in his "bat". thats gotta suckand today's lesson: don't keep a loaded piston in ur pants!!!
