Yes I know I have the HIRs and I love them. But I am going to put them in my fog lamps so they can be brighter. Now I could spend another $50 for more HIRs to do this but on MO there is a group buy for $135, $140 express shipped 3-5 days. I can't resist, they are reliable and come with a 14month warranty. I am gonna pickup a set but I am not sure if I should go 6k or 8k for temp color. I do not want them to be too blue, but I also don't want them to be yellowish stock like a 4300k. So I am really thinking I might get 6k.My question to you is 6 or 8 and if you have one or the other post up your pic I wanna see what they look like. Thanks!

They are 6000K. I also did not want something too blue and at the same time not too yellowish. The 6000K is like a perfect white to me.

I think the 6k is gonna be it, thanks for that. What could look sexier than a black trix with HIDs and yellow fogs )

6000k is your best bet for visibility.if you don't drive in a lot of fog. You can do what I did and get 6000k for your headlights and fog lights. I will be selling my 6000k fogs for a set of 3000k fogs because I do tend to run in to a bit of fog and the yellow spectrum doesn't glare and reflect back at you in the fog the way the clear white light does. Also, don't forget to disable your DRL's cutting pin 12 is your easiest thing to do. You will lose your auto lights too if you do that mod. Keep that in mind.

I disabled the DRLs day two and set it up so I can have my fogs and parks only be on. I got the yellow fogs already from Ycart on MO, picked up his overlays and grabbed Mivibes lexan covers.

what are they going to do. pull you over and say your DRL's aren't working... and then wait for another vibe to drive by and confirm it? LOL My car passed my state inspection with out my drls working and my "illegal" hids installed.I have even sat at opposing stop lights from an officer and they honestly have better things to worry about weather your drls work or not. Many new cars don't come with drls. Unless they have a book someplace or own a vibe them self most will not know if the vibe has drl's

Well I feel like I may be stretching to put $140 for the lights. I may have to hold off. But I do need to get something. I'm thinking maybe a Helix Power Tower, Cosmo SRI, or strut bar.
