Hey guys, just primered and put the paint on my engine cover..but im just curious..when i was painting the cover, the can kinda sputtered..leaving lil balls of paint on top..so it kinda looks like crap..is their anyway i can sand it down abit and then perhaps re-paint it another coat before i clear it? or would that give the paint an un-even look??

Good Luck, don'tforget our pics!!!

wet sand the paint and the cleat coats. Google wet sanding if you dont know how to do it, but you need some fine a$$ sand paper.

Now you just need to yank your engine and paint the engine well to match. And then get some gold pinstriping to curl around all your hoses. It'd be like your subi-esque Vibe swallowed a subi-esque meal. That doesn't make any sense, does it? Oh well. Keep going, it's looking great.

well i sent an email to ryan at grafxwerks and he says that they're 1mm smaller so it wont peel off..which i guess i can understand but i think it just looks weird..specially when i sanded down the whole letter..now it's gonna be all dull around the gold..may just paint the letters gold instead of using the stickers

i hate chrome..so no chrome..and the reason im doing gold is cause thats my color scheme..that and the rims are gold..everything else is staying how it is

now the only thing i can say is put a couple layers of clear coat over it so that it won't change colors and you can clean it easier. looks really good
