I had enough time to put the red stripping on them today. Centers getting close to being done. These tires only have 2 months worth of wear on them from the VW Passat I traded in for the Vibe.Money is tight right now so I have to make due with what I have.Thaks for the comments. I will keep posting the progress of my Blackout project.

now all you need to do is get rid of the wheel gap.

LOL. I wanted to do something different, while maintaining some form of "believability". It all started when I had a small mechanical problem. I took it to the Pontiac dealership where I bought it and they did not have the right part. They said they would have to order it and the part was a bit pricey at $175.00. On a spur of the moment I stoped by the Toyota dealership and told them about it. The partsman and mechanic looked up the part and they had it for $46.00. Needless to say I bought the part and put it on myself. The next day the Vibe was idling rough so I called the Toyota shop and they did a diagnosis, fine tuned it according to their specs, and did something under the dash, LOL, but the mechanic wouldn't tell me what. When I asked him he just looked at the partsman and said it will be our secret. I think he chipped it. Anyway they gave me the TRD emblems and said to stop back when I need anything. The SS idea came about when I did the stripes. There is already a Vibe GTR so why not a Vibe SS.Thanks for all the replies.

That thick red spraypaint against your white cavaliers body.14) Allowing your trunk to rattle uncontrollably because you wanted the big sub instead of the right one for your car and failing to sound deaden properly. But continuously blaring it convinced it sounds good and people are looking at you cause your cool. Please note #10LOL, just kidding bro, couldn't resist. I am kinda likin the striping work though.

I now have the centers painted and cleared. Although they turned out ok, there were just too many serious dents in them. I hope to have them badged for the meet though. I am going to look for some better centers in the salvage yards or on Ebay.

Custom made decals turned out great. Though one I get better or new centers I asked them to match the red of the pinstriping. I just got word that my factory rims have been bead basted and now are being cosmetically touched up from the original owner's curbing. I asked for them to be a black/grey if possible with silver around the edge. The guy doing the job suggested white or all black.Give me some input before they start. Thanks.

Lol. No it isn't pink. The graphics shop already had the Pontiac symbol in their computer from a job for the dealership. It is the actual red used for pontiac. When you see it Saturday you can tell it is red just not as bold as the striping.I went with the SS overlay because I wanted it to fit what I had already done. Keep in mind I am only going to use these rims until spring.
