I read about it today. School were closed and to top it off the islands had an 5.3 earthquake last night.Hope HawaiianPontiacLover will get through it ok and any other members or lukers from Hawaii.

I hate hurricane season. We're always a target here on the east coast.

It looks it's going to miss her. We use a program at work called Hurrevac and the latest data puts it south of HI. She will get rain and a little wind as it passes by. We have another active system in the Atlantic, Tropical Storm Dean that is tracking toward the Gulf right now.

Awww...thanks everybody! Yes, it's passing south of the Big Island. They had a quake too. It's already weakened to a Category 1 and the eye has become less pronounced, so IF it does pass this way (I'm on O'ahu) it will be a lot weaker...maybe rain and 25' surf?

SO glad to know it's going to miss you, for the most part! Hope you at least stocked up with some food and doggie treats, just in case!
