I hope you're planning on building it to 300+HP. Those engines will really put out and as you know GM has the parts to do it.

You will need to upgrade your tranny as well to handle the additional power. You'll need a Hydra Nemesis EMS Standalone ECU as well. You can do anything if you have anough money and knowhow. Good Luck!

I'd just get a Level 10 Tranny, a MonkeyWrench Modified Engine, and then Turbo the **** out of it. Other engines, I'm not so sure. I know there is going to be a new RWD Corolla coming out soon and that engine may be nice.

X3547 HP out of a cavilier? Yeah...right! I too would like to see some pics. Plus if he is a GM tech, wouldn't he get a discount on GM parts too?

well the cobalt ss sc people are twin charging it and getting like 400 or more HP. But to do a vibe with a ecotec...wow tons of work as your taking a jap car and putting american engine in so EVERYTHING will have to be replaced, like stated above, ecu, tranny, drive axels, etc. big a big job but of course it could be done... but you'd be better off swaping in a yota 3zz or whatever engine and turbo'ing it. so I too say good luck! It would be a sweet swap as the ecotec now (2.0l) has some good aftermarket and gm support. Yeah any pics of that cavy? Ive seen some turbo ones here in MN but Im not sure they make that much hp, 547hp is a ton for a i4 unless you swapped in a new engine..that would be a sweet sight to see

Kinda have my doubts also but hey, it would seem easier to put a bigger I4 in a Vibe than a V-10 in a PT Crusier. Just how streetable is a 500+ HP I4? Probably not very.

I wonder if the toyota 2.4L is that much different for mounts and such.... That or that stroker 3zz... It shouldnt be to bad if you can fab your parts up, its just no one i know or heard of has done it so you'd be doing all your own fab work and testing..
